Chris Dunmire is the CEO of Creative Slush Playbooks and is engaged creatively in life as an author, artist, humorist, creativity coach, and the creative director and publisher of the popular Creativity-Portal.com Web site, named "101 of the Best Web sites for Writers" by Writer's Digest magazine.

After leaving her corporate job after 7 years in 2000, Chris has actively pursued partnerships with other on- and off-line organizations and professionals advocating personal creative development and creative expression in schools, at the workplace, and in homes across the world.

Chris has trained as a creativity coach with "America's foremost creativity coach" Eric Maisel, Ph.D., and has authored dozens of creativity-inspiring articles, art and craft projects, drawing lessons, and writing prompts (including the Blogger.com "Buzzed" Imagination Prompt Generator) freely accessible to the online community to use as tools for their own creative development. In 2007 Chris began compiling her work with new material in a series of easily accessible printable e-books and humor kits under the Creative Slush Playbooks brand.

When not engaged in her online projects and personal creative pursuits, Chris enjoys teaching workshops, mentoring children, and volunteering in community-oriented consciousness-raising organizations. •
